The King Room was comfy with a clean vibe, which was nice. Loved the indoor pool temperature—it was perfect! The book light next to the bed was a cool touch. However, some maintenance issues like the shower lights flickering were a bit annoying. AC worked well, but I did feel a bit cramped since the room was on the smaller side.

Room 106 had a persistent odor, likely from the carpet, which made it uncomfortable to relax. The ice container was a reused dollar store bag, not exactly reassuring, and a number of amenities, such as the spa, were out of service, limiting options for unwinding after a long day.

staying here made my weekend city strolls enjoyable with easy access to the Carlsbad Water Park just under 6 km away and the breathtaking Bat Flight Program in Carlsbad Cavern National Park almost 2 km from the hotel, both of which my friends and I cherished visiting during our trip. as a single traveler, I appreciated the friendly service and the check-in experience was made easy by the helpful staff.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, free parking, and a 24-hour reception. The staff even helped me find tasty food. I appreciate the friendly service here. Can't wait for my next city break!
